Direct Wines Ltd is the World’s largest independent wine merchant with annualised sales of £350 million. We offer more than 2000 different wines to one million active customers worldwide. Operating mainly within the UK, Direct Wines is also very proud to have operations in the USA, Australia, Hong-Kong, Germany, Switzerland, Poland and most recently India.

Direct Wines is the largest direct-to-consumer wine retailer in the world. Our main call center receives 2 million calls a year, and a significant share of our sales are made through our website. We also operate 11 retail outlets in popular areas.
Direct Wines' trading identities include Laithwaites, Averys and Virgin Wines. Partnerships with The Sunday Times (The Sunday Times Wine Club), the Wall Street Journal (WSJ Wine), The Telegraph, British Airways as well as many others, have also been established.
Employing over 1000 people worldwide, we are proud to have received numerous awards throughout the year, namely Direct Merchant of the Year (2011) and Buying Team of the Year (2012).
Our main warehouse is responsible for shipments of more than 60,000 cases per week, and we are proud to say that 100% of the packaging used is made from recycled materials.

One of the biggest and oldest wine importing/distributing companies in Poland (est.1996). Its portfolio includes over 600 different wines from over 80 suppliers. The company sells wine to specialized wine shops, restaurants and hotels all over Poland.
Dom Wina is a leading member of the group of companies (Dom Wina Group) which offers their customers a variety of services focused on wine culture, including: import, distribution, shops, a wine club, a wine magazine, wine tours, enological event organization, hotel and restaurant service. The core business of Dom Wina lies in direct sales through its Wine Club (founded in 2001) which has over 10,000 members.
The direct sale is provided also by net of 7 shops (own and franchising) located in the biggest Polish towns.
The sale is supported by a bi-monthly magazine Czas Wina published since 2002. It has the largest circulation among wine magazines in Poland (14 000 copies). Czas Wina cooperates with Jancis Robinson (since the beginning of 2008).
Every year in November Czas Wina awards a title of the Person of the Year for the individuals involved in wine culture promotion.
All Wine Club events in the group are organized by a sister company – Wine Service Ltd. The most frequent activity concerns:
